Takeover of Sonolor in 1946 by André Bazin, a company employing 3 people at the time. Development of Sonolor in the early 1950s with a production of some 50,000 lamp sets. In 1958, André Bazin created the company Televisso to distribute under the brand name Visseaux the devices manufactured in the Sonolor factories.

Witnesses of our history, our radios from the 30s to the 60s will find their place in a chic, modern or vintage living room.

They represent the know-how of Absolument, the most unique connected speakers in the world combining design and audiophile sound quality thanks to the performance of Focal speakers and its 50W analog amplifier allowing to retranscribe the sound of tube amplifiers while benefiting from a modern dynamism.

In order to keep the charm of these old sets, we integrate backlighting bulbs on the dial, and we keep the original volume knob, allowing you to travel in time with each music.

Patina:

Normal wear and tear: the set is in good overall condition, may have small time related marks but not very visible or visible up close.

Traces of life: the set may have traces of time, scratches or marks visible at 30 cm.

50w analogue amplifier (class A/B)

All our radios are equipped with a 50 W analogue amplifier, allowing the sound of tube amplifiers to be reproduced with modern dynamics.

Focal loudspeaker

All our radios are equipped with Focal Performance Coaxial 120W loudspeakers, a world reference in the high fidelity sector.

Bluetooth 5.0 aptX

We install a Bluetooth 5.0 system so you can freely listen to all your favourite music from your phone, computer or tablet on your vintage A.bsolutely radio!

3.5mm jack input

The jack allows you to connect any compatible device (turntable, CD player, ipod...) to your radio. You can then broadcast your music via your A.bsolument radio.

RCA output

You can connect a subwoofer via the RCA socket. Enjoy music with an even higher sound quality and deeper bass.

Backlighting of the display

When restoring your set we make sure to install backlighting bulbs on your dial so that your radio lights up when you turn it on!

Original functional On/Off button

In order to keep the charm of the old, we make sure to keep as many of the original elements as possible. Therefore the original button is configured to turn the radio on and off and also to adjust the volume!
