Founded in the early 1930s, the Télémonde company created a few hundred radio models.

What happened in the 1930s?
The inter-war period was a pivotal time for the French and international music scene, witnessing a change. In the early 1930s, Josephine Baker and Lucienne Boyer were singing love songs, sprinkled with emotion, and black in tone. Whereas on the late 30s scene, the tone was more joyful and light, as with Maurice Chevalier's Y'a d'la joie .

Witnesses of our history, our radios from the 30s to the 60s will find their place in a chic, modern or vintage living room.

Patina:

Normal wear and tear: the set is in good overall condition, may have small time related marks but not very visible or visible up close.

Traces of life: the set may have traces of time, scratches or marks visible at 30 cm.

50w analogue amplifier (class A/B)

All our radios are equipped with a 50 W analogue amplifier, allowing the sound of tube amplifiers to be reproduced with modern dynamics.

Focal loudspeaker

All our radios are equipped with Focal Performance Coaxial 120W loudspeakers, a world reference in the high fidelity sector.

Bluetooth

We install a Bluetooth system so you can freely listen to all your favorite music from your phone, computer or tablet on your vintage A.bsolutely radio!

3.5mm jack input

The jack allows you to connect any compatible device (turntable, CD player, ipod...) to your radio. You can then broadcast your music via your A.bsolument radio.

RCA output

You can connect a subwoofer via the RCA socket. Enjoy music with an even higher sound quality and deeper bass.

Backlighting of the display

When restoring your set we make sure to install backlighting bulbs on your dial so that your radio lights up when you turn it on!

Original functional On/Off button

In order to keep the charm of the old, we make sure to keep as many of the original elements as possible. Therefore the original button is configured to turn the radio on and off and also to adjust the volume!
