BEFORE YOU ORDER
This remote controls a WiiM receiver. Without a WiiM plugged into your radio, it will be of no use to you. If you do not have one yet, start with the WiiM Mini: it brings Wi-Fi to your radio, and the remote comes afterwards.
FOUR BUTTONS four stations
The WiiM brought Wi-Fi to your radio: Spotify, web radios, all the music in the world. It also put the phone at the centre of the living room. To change track, you unlock it, open the app, find the right screen. Every single time.
The four numbered buttons on the remote each hold a station or a playlist. Number 1 for the morning radio, number 2 for dinner, and so on. One press, the music starts. A quick double press, and you reach four more presets.

The WiiM Mini plugs into the jack at the back of your modernised radio. The remote controls it, and the music follows.
With the PRODIGE + WiiM pack
The BT + Wi-Fi version of PRODIGE comes with its WiiM, plugged in at the back of the speaker on the AUX input. The remote controls it in the same way.
FREQUENTLY ASKED questions
Does it work without a WiiM receiver?
No. It controls the WiiM, not the radio. Without a WiiM plugged in behind your set, it has nothing to control.
Does my radio's own volume knob still work?
Yes. The remote's volume keys act on the level sent by the WiiM. Your radio's original knob stays where it is and keeps doing its job.
Do I need an Amazon Alexa account?
Only for voice control, linked in the WiiM Home app. All the buttons work without it.
How do I pair it?
Hold the source button and the mute button together for two seconds, then let the WiiM Home app guide you. It takes about two minutes.
I have two radios with a WiiM each, is one remote enough?
A remote stays paired to one device at a time. To control the other radio, you have to pair it again, or get a second remote.
