A FLAX FIBRE CONE woven for your radio
The Flax cone is an exclusive Focal sandwich: a flax fibre core held between two thin layers of glass fibre. Flax is twice as light as glass and very rigid: the cone reacts fast and does not deform.
Inside your radio, you hear it immediately: rich mids, natural voices, taut bass even at high volume. Your set's warm character, with today's definition.

Is the standard speaker not enough?
The standard Focal is already excellent, and it comes with every modernisation. The Flax is for demanding music lovers: more precision, more control at high volume.
Single or pair?
Living room radios have a single speaker: one unit is enough. Stereo radio cabinets have two: choose the pair.
Can I add it later?
The simplest is to choose it at modernisation time. For an already modernised radio, write to the workshop: we will tell you what is possible on your set.
