Your modernised radio is a Bluetooth speaker. Pro-Ject's T1 BT is a turntable that transmits via Bluetooth. Pair them once: after that, you put the record on, the arm comes down, the radio sings.
The turntable arrives ready to play: Ortofon OM 5E cartridge pre-fitted and pre-adjusted, glass platter, built-in phono preamp. No expert audiophile set-up needed: it is plug and play, literally.

How do I connect it to my radio?
Via Bluetooth: you pair the turntable and the radio once, and the link then reconnects automatically. Wired, a suitable cable into the radio's input works too.
Do I need a phono preamp?
No, it is built into the turntable. A switchable output even lets you choose between line and phono level depending on your set-up.
Does Bluetooth degrade the vinyl sound?
The turntable transmits in aptX, a good-quality Bluetooth codec: listening on a vintage radio, the difference from a cable is imperceptible. And for purists, the wired connection remains possible.
